Christian Horner, the former Red Bull team principal and CEO who oversaw 14 world championships over two decades, is actively plotting his return to the Formula One paddock.
The 51-year-old, who reached a settlement allowing him to make a comeback next year after being ousted by Red Bull in July, has been in contact with numerous top figures in the sport.
This was confirmed by Aston Martin team principal Andy Cowell ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, who stated, 'It looks as though Christian is ringing up pretty much every team owner at the moment.' Cowell was quick to add a definitive statement regarding his own team, confirming, 'I can clearly say there are no plans for the involvement of Christian in an operational or investment role in the future' at Aston Martin.
Horner has also been linked with a move to other teams, including Haas, whose team principal, Ayao Komatsu, revealed that Horner had approached them and an exploratory talk had taken place, but confirmed that nothing had gone any further and the matter was finished.
Horner’s final 18 months at Red Bull were overshadowed by allegations of inappropriate behaviour from a female colleague.
Although he has consistently denied the claims and was twice exonerated in internal reviews, the controversy led to his departure.
His next destination remains a major talking point in F1, as his former star driver Max Verstappen trails championship leader Oscar Piastri by 69 points with just seven races remaining.
