Expert Shares Simple Trick to Make Cheap Wine Taste Expensive

According to wine expert Tom Gilbey, you don't need to spend a lot to enjoy a high-quality glass of wine.
He shared a simple tip on TikTok, where he revealed that a 19 white wine from Burgundy tasted better than a 70 bottle in a blind tasting.
The bottle in question was the Collovray et Terrier Saint-Veran Reserve, which he has been importing annually for 15 years.
Gilbey described the wine’s smell as a mix of Werther's Original and lemon, and said he didn't want to spit it out during the tasting, which is a common practice.
He recommended that others go to Majestic and buy the wine, noting that he is not being paid for the recommendation.
Gilbey's followers were quick to comment on the video, with one noting that the price was great and another joking that the video made them want to open a bottle of wine at 8 in the morning.
He also advised that leaving the wine to mature for a couple of years would make it even more rich and luscious.
