The row over an inquiry into the Birmingham pub bombings continues, with the Prime Minister defending his government's new 'legacy reforms' as the designated mechanism to uncover the truth and ensure accountability for the victims.
The Prime Minister stated that the reforms were designed to get to the bottom of all issues, including the pub bombings.
He stressed that the victims were not and will never be forgotten, acknowledging that the families carry the acute sorrow every single day.
However, this suggestion was firmly rejected by Ms.
Hambleton, who leads the Justice 4 the 21 campaign group.
She argued that the body referred to by the Prime Minister is "not suited to deal with our complex case".
Instead, the families insist that "Only a judge-led public inquiry has the mechanism in place to provide the answers that we desire," arguing they simply want what other families have been given.
Home Office minister Dan Jarvis has confirmed that the Home Secretary is currently considering the request for a full public inquiry.
