Singer Jessie J, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, has announced the cancellation of her upcoming U.S.
tour dates and the rescheduling of her U.K.
and European shows due to ongoing health issues related to her breast cancer diagnosis.
The singer, 37, revealed earlier this year that she had undergone a mastectomy to remove the disease.
In a statement, she explained, 'Unfortunately I have to have a second surgery - nothing too serious but it has to be done by the end of this year'.
This procedure coincides with her previously scheduled tour, forcing her to make the difficult decision to cancel.
She expressed her frustration and sadness but emphasized the need to prioritize her health and healing.
The U.K.
and European dates, originally set for October 2025, have been moved to April 2026, while the U.S.
dates in November 2025 have been canceled with ticket holders receiving a refund.
The 'Bang Bang' singer did share an Instagram video expressing her desire to reschedule the U.S.
dates for the following year, asking her fans for their patience.
The announcement comes just weeks after Jessie J teased new music, which she confirmed is still on its way.
She has been open about her cancer treatment journey on social media, sharing both the highs and lows with her followers.
She wrote in a post from earlier in August that she had 're write the rules to fit around my life health' and was trying to make it realistic on what she could deliver in all roles.
She concluded the video by thanking her fans for their unwavering support.
