A Cattedown garage has been damaged by fire which broke out overnight in Faraday Mill Industrial Park.
The blaze started at Oceancity Autos on Cattewater Road at around 3.30am on Wednesday, 1 October.
Firefighters rushed to the scene in the early hours after the blaze was reported.
Five fire engines from across Plymouth and South Devon were sent to the fire, which spread to the R H Vehicle Repairs premises next door.
R H bosses told PlymouthLive they received a call around 4am informing them of the fire.
Their property suffered some minor damage inside, whilst the garage next door was damaged by both flames and smoke.
By 8am the blaze had been extinguished.
The cause of the fire is unknown, and an investigation has been taking place throughout the day to determine what happened.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service provided details of the response: crews from Greenbank and Camels Head were first on scene and quickly got to work with 2 Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose Reel Jets and a Thermal Imaging Camera.
The Incident Commander requested an additional 2 pumps, with crews mobilised from additional locations, as well as a Command Appliance and further Officers.
Crews continued to tackle the fire affecting 2 commercial units using 4 Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose Reel Jets, 2 Thermal Imaging Cameras and 1 Safety Jet.
The buildings suffered 20% fire damage and 10% smoke damage.
The incident was scaled back to 1 pump, with total equipment used including 10 Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose Reel Jets, 1 Safety Jet, 2 Gas Monitors and 3 Thermal Imaging Cameras.
